The new “Buddhist Gate Berlin“, is part of a building development, ”Am Urban“ in Berlin-Kreuzberg:

In Spring 2009, after searching for four years, we found a suitable property: the former kitchen of the old Urban hospital, which has served in recent years as an x-ray archive.

The project “Am Urban” was started by residents of the Graefestrasse neighbourhood. The new property fulfils all our hopes: it is centrally located, part of a bigger project, there is easy access by public transport and the building is directly accessible from the street, Grimmstrasse.

We also have the potential to expand into the basement so the centre will be able to grow as the Sangha (spiritual community) grows.
